About

I’ve been making things (and taking them apart) for nearly as long as I can remember. Woodworking, which I began doing as a child, became my primary skill. I went to Art School (BFA University of Kansas 1979) and studied painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. In the early 80s while living in Madison, Wisconsin I became aware of the book arts community and I began building paper making and book making tools for folks. I’ve stopped offering paper moulds for sale but still make some bookbinding tools. I like trying new methods and refining my knowledge and skills. And I find sharing what I’ve learned to be enjoyable. I hope that you enjoy what is offered in these pages.
