Tall Rounded Top and Tying Up Presses

16″ Tall Rounded Top Press. This press is 7-1/2″ tall, has jaws that are 1-1/8″ thick, and measures a little over 16″ between screws. The jaws are made of quarter sawn White Oak and the screws of Hard Maple. The screws have four threads per inch. These are often purchased in 14″ and 12″ sizes, too. 14″ Tying Up Press. Basically the same design as the press above but with two rows of recessed brass pins on each side for tying up. Also 7-1/2″ tall and also made in 12″ and 16″ sizes. This press last sold for $378.00.
