The Signature Punch for Hand Bookbinding quickly and accurately
punches sewing holes, a signature at a time, and is intended as an aid
in hand binding small or large editions.
Set-up is easy and hole size and location will be uniform in all signatures of an edition.
Maximum length along fold is 16"
Sharpened steel pins punch through signature folds and into replaceable foamcore strips.
Three interchangeable pin blocks each have two faces drilled with precisely spaced holes. Each face is drilled at a different interval to provide great flexibility in hole spacing.
The Signature Punch has functioned well in commercial binderies.
Each Signature Punch is carefully made of high quality, durable materials. It comes equipped with 24 steel pins and a dozen foamcore punching strips. A device for cutting additional strips is included.
